So I'm not the only one! I had to bypass Starbucks yesterday and continue up to Mayorga, because I knew I'd probably catch pneumonia trying to sit in that overly-air conditioned environment. It's really too bad, since the staff is so friendly and the furniture is soooo nice. But on three different occasions, I saw people wearing sweatshirts in the middle of the summer in there. I understand AC is better than stifling hot, but how about a happy medium? Bring it up a degree or two, or three....

ColHeightsChic - Yeah - Exactly... I like going there, but I don't want to stay and read the paper or work on my laptop because it's FREEZING in there.

Funny you mention how cold it is in there. It's the only reason I don't sit and read my paper there. I really think more people would actually frequent the shop if you didn't need to bring a ski jacket along.

Any idea how to get that word to the manager (short of going in and telling him in person?) I can't find any email link to the actual shop.

Is this that new Starbucks that was opening along with the condos? If so, then whoa.

Now let's wait for Target to open...
